The Challenge
GigSocial needed a complete two-sided marketplace platform to connect brands with influencers and athletes for sponsored content deals across all major social networks. The platform required:
•Inventory management for social media posts (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
•Dynamic pricing and availability management for sellers
•Secure payment processing with buyer/seller protection
•Escrow and digital wallet system for fund management
•Dispute resolution workflows
•Scalable infrastructure to support growth
The Solution
We built the entire platform from scratch, delivering full-stack development across all layers:
Platform Architecture
Translated high-level requirements into scalable architecture
Designed complete database schema and system architecture
Built Ruby on Rails API backend with MySQL, Redis, ElasticSearch, Sidekiq, and AnyCable
Developed Next.js/React frontend with mobile-responsive design

Payment & Transaction System
Integrated NMI payment gateway with card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay for purchases
Built ACH and payout systems for disbursing funds to sellers

Set up complete Azure infrastructure with Docker, Terraform, and Kubernetes
